Areas of Coverage
Currently, SJWD serves two municipalities, the Municipality of San Jose (Main System) and the Municipality of Magsaysay (Sub-System). San Jose is composed of 38 barangays (27 mainland barangays and 11 island barangays)
As of December 2016, SJWD provides Level III water supply in 16 out of 38 Barangays in San Jose with 6,820 service connections including Barangay Poblacion of the Municipality of Magsaysay. SJWD water supply is commonly used for household and commercial purposes. SJWD is serving 17 Barangays namely:
- Barangay Poblacion 1 to 8
- Bagong Sikat
- Caminawit
- Labangan Poblacion
- Magbay
- Mabini
- Mapaya
- Pag-asa
- San Roque and
- Poblacion Magsaysay
In 2017, two barangays were added namely: La Curva and Mangarin projecting an increase in the number of connections to 7,400 by the end of the year which was not realized.
